Research-first marketing

Research-first marketing and export: we talk to your buyers before we touch your website

We do marketing for manufacturers, distributors and brands that need to sell outside their home market — and we start by interviewing the people who buy from you. Then we build what the research says is missing: a multilingual catalogue an importer can order from, a site that answers a foreign buyer’s questions, content written from real customer language, and analytics that show what worked. The marketing and the software come from the same team.

Your week

If this is your week

  • Campaigns run, numbers move, and nobody can say what worked.

  • Your catalogue is a PDF in Italian, and the German importer stopped replying.

  • The agency does the ads and the developer does the site, and each blames the other.

  • Marketing happens “from trade fair to trade fair”.

  • You have never asked a buyer why they chose you.

The system

What we do

  • Buyer research: 8–12 interviews with customers, lost customers and distributors in the target market, in their language.
  • Positioning and messaging written from what they said, not from what you wish they said.
  • Export-ready website and B2B catalogue — multilingual, with ordering where it makes sense.
  • Content: articles, case studies and product pages built to be found by search engines and cited by AI assistants.
  • Analytics from first touch to order, in one dashboard.
  • LinkedIn and email programmes for B2B, run within each country’s rules.

Process

How it works

  1. 01

Research: three to four weeks of interviews and a written report of what buyers say, in their words.

  2. 02

Pilot: one market, one channel, one measurable goal — for example, an English catalogue and 20 importer conversations.

  3. 03

Build: the site, the content system, the analytics.

  4. 04

Running: content produced monthly, analytics reviewed monthly, one number to decide on.

Proof

A real one

  • Equipment brand with an owners’ community

57,494community messages analysed, from 383 owners

Research inside the community — 57,494 messages — became 60 articles buyers trust, and the brand’s main source of search traffic.

After launch

What we keep running

Content at an agreed monthly volume. Catalogue and site updated as products change. Analytics reviewed with you monthly. Campaigns adjusted on evidence.

Limits

When this is not for you

  • If you want ads without research, there are cheaper agencies.
  • If you sell to consumers through paid social, that is not our field.
  • If your product is not ready for a foreign buyer, we will tell you before we sell you a website.

Pricing

How pricing works

Three parts, always.

  1. 01

A pilot with a fixed price

One pain, 3–4 weeks, a result you can measure.

  2. 02

A build with a fixed estimate

Which can be spread over 6–12 months.

  3. 03

A monthly fee that keeps the system running

Hosting, current prices and catalogues, working integrations, support, small changes.

Numbers come after the first call, in writing. More on pricing in the FAQ

Questions

Questions about this

  • Why interviews first?

Because most export sites answer the questions the company thinks buyers ask. Twelve conversations show the real ones, and the site then writes itself.

  • Which languages?

The site is built in the buyer’s language with native reviewers; our own team works in English and Italian.

  • Do you run ads?

Only after the organic version of a page converts. We scale what works; we do not pay to find out.

  • Can you also build the ordering system behind the catalogue?

Yes — that is the point of one team. See Dealer & community platforms and Quoting & orders.

How we work
A small team based in Italy, working with companies across Europe in the EU time zone. We visit production sites when a project needs it; the rest runs online.
