What was missing
Knauf Insulation had two loyalty programs that weren't working well enough. We'll get that out of the way quickly, because it's not the interesting part of the story.
The interesting part is what we built instead, and why it works in a way that no competitor can simply copy.
The insight
We spent time on research before we touched anything. What the research showed was a clear dependency loop sitting right in front of the business. Homeowners look for a reliable professional and a convenient store. Professionals look for new clients and better purchasing terms. Retailers look for buyer traffic. Each group needs the other two, and none of them had a direct way to find each other. Knauf Insulation had access to all three groups and wasn't connecting them.
That's where we started. Not with loyalty mechanics. With the market.
What we built
We built Itochka.pro. One platform, one database, one login. Four roles: homeowner, crew leader, retail outlet, partner. Each role gets its own dashboard and its own journey through the system, designed around what that person actually needs to do.
Homeowners post jobs and choose professionals by rating, reviews, and a portfolio of completed work. Professionals respond to leads, manage their orders, and build a public profile that makes them easier to find and easier to trust. Retailers publish their store information, price lists, and product range, and appear on an interactive map so a homeowner can find the nearest outlet stocking what their crew needs.
We built construction calculators that turn saved estimates into qualified leads. A homeowner planning a renovation saves a materials estimate, and that estimate becomes a direct contact between them and a nearby store. This is the kind of mechanic that makes the platform commercially useful rather than just a directory.
A rewards catalogue with cart and order tracking keeps professionals engaged between jobs. Role-based support routing keeps operations lean. Everything connects. One transaction leaves a record that runs from the homeowner's first estimate all the way to the crew's purchase at a named store.
The platform was also designed to generate revenue beyond the loyalty mechanics from the start. Media placements for non-competing manufacturers. Access to the professional audience as a commercial product. A coalition loyalty program with accruing and media partners, launched alongside the core platform.
This matters because it means the platform pays for itself in multiple ways, not just through brand loyalty. Knauf Insulation sits at the centre of a market that generates its own commercial activity, and every new member makes the network more valuable for every existing member.

How we worked
We specified the full business and functional requirements before writing a line of code. Then we delivered in stages: MVP, pilot, trial operation, full production. Each stage tested a specific hypothesis before we moved to the next one. This isn't how most platform projects are run, and it's why most platform projects go over budget and under-deliver.
Results
6,000 top installation professionals on the platform. 1,500 retail stores registered, 70% actively recording purchases. More than 30,000 unique monthly visitors. Over 3,000 homeowner-to-professional orders per year. Coalition program live with accruing and media partners.
Why this holds
The thing that makes Itochka.pro hard to compete with isn't the features. Any competitor can build a map and a rewards catalogue. What they can't do is copy the database we built, which now contains a unified record of the entire demand chain, from the first estimate a homeowner saves to the purchase a professional makes at a specific store. That record belongs to Knauf Insulation. It took time and a functioning network to build it. It gets more valuable every day the platform runs.
A points program can be cloned in a quarter. This can't.
What the work included
Audience research and ecosystem strategy, business-functional requirements, role model and customer journeys, unified database and single sign-on, CMS and admin workflows, geo-services (interactive retail map), online showcase and calculators, rewards catalogue and order management, SEO, paid search, social, YouTube and programmatic promotion.
